Bendix recalls EC80 brake control units over electrical noise that can stop them working

Electrical noise and a low signal can make the control unit mishandle commands or stop working, so safety systems like ABS, stability control and collision mitigation may weaken or fail, raising crash risk.

What to do

Bendix will reprogram the unit's software for free, and owner letters are expected to be mailed December 8, 2025. Owners can contact Bendix Customer Service at 440-329-9000.
