Lippert recalls 8K trailer axles over oil leak from wrong hub seal

The axle hubs were built with a grease seal instead of an oil seal, so oil can leak out, and the lost lubrication can cause bearing failure and wheel loss, raising the risk of a crash.

What to do

Lippert will replace the axle hubs free of charge. Owners can call Lippert customer service at 1-574-538-4514.
