Toyota recalls 2022–2024 Lexus LX vehicles over front passenger seat sensor that may misread the occupant
The front passenger seat may not have enough clearance between the seat frame and the stopper, which can make the occupant sensor wrongly detect the occupant and may cause improper air bag deployment in a crash, raising injury risk.
What to do
Dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the front passenger seat frame assembly free of charge. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331.
