Storyteller Overland recalls 2024–2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles because steps can deploy unexpectedly

The entry door switch may not detect that the door is closed, so the steps can extend while the vehicle is moving, which raises the risk of a crash.

What to do

Dealers will add a ground signal to the door switch circuit for free. Owners can call Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
