Audi recalls E-Tron, E-Tron Sportback, Q8 E-Tron and other models because the brake pedal can detach

A fastener joining the brake pedal to the brake booster may have been assembled wrongly at the factory, so the pedal can detach, causing loss of braking and a higher crash risk.

What to do

Take the vehicle to a dealer, who will inspect and tighten the pushrod screw joint as necessary, free of charge. Owners may call Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834 and mention recall number 46P7.
