Nova Bus recalls 2022–2024 LFS and 2023–2024 LFS Artic buses over coolant sensor that can shut off engine

The coolant sensor can send a false signal that makes the engine shut down without warning, which can raise the risk of a crash and of injury when passengers are moved off the disabled bus.

What to do

Nova Bus will inspect the coolant sensor and replace it if needed, free of charge, and owners will get letters starting around November 2, 2026. Owners can call Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682 and mention recall number CR5936; buses fixed under the earlier recall 24V873 need the new repair too.
