Grand Design recalls 2026–2027 Imagine travel trailers over safety chains that are too weak

The safety chains installed on these trailers are rated for less weight than the trailer's gross vehicle weight rating, so the trailer could come off the tow vehicle and cause a crash.

What to do

Dealers will replace the safety chains for free, and owner letters are expected to be mailed November 19, 2026. Owners may call Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679 and refer to recall number 910069.
