Stihl recalls BR 800 Backpack Blower because fan wheels may fail and eject parts
The fan wheels were not made to specification and may fail over time and repeated use, so parts could be ejected from the backpack and injure the user and bystanders.
What to do
Stop using the blower immediately and return it to a STIHL-approved dealer. Units with a black dot next to the serial number have been inspected and/or repaired, so the recall does not apply to them.
